BTS's Jimin to Be Discharged on June 11: Fans Celebrate with Heartfelt Events in Yeoncheon

As BTS’s Jimin nears his military discharge on June 11, 2025, fans worldwide are organizing celebratory events in Yeoncheon to honor his service.

BTS’s Jimin is set to complete his mandatory military service on June 11, 2025. In anticipation, fans from around the globe are orchestrating a series of heartfelt events in Yeoncheon, where Jimin has been stationed, to commemorate his return.


Bus Advertisements and Streetlight Banners Brighten Yeoncheon

The "Park Jimin Preservation Society," a dedicated fan union, has launched a special bus advertisement campaign. These wrapped buses travel the route from Jeongok to Yeoncheon and the military base, displaying messages of pride and welcome for Jimin. The campaign runs throughout June.

From May 30 to June 11, the group is also setting up 100 sets of streetlight banners in the area, turning Yeoncheon into a celebration zone for Jimin’s return.

Global Fans Join Hands for Jimin

The “Jimin Apple Music Team,” in collaboration with international fanbases like “PJM Hungary” and “TEAM JIMIN AUSTRALIA,” is installing 230 additional sets of streetlight banners in Yeoncheon.

To amplify their support, they have partnered with “Park Jimin USA” to place large-scale banners on both sides of Yeoncheon’s main overpass. These banners, up from June 5 to June 11, feature messages such as:
“We’ve been waiting for this day when Jimin comes back to catch us♡”
“We’re proud of you! Welcome back, Jimin!♡”

The “Jimin Mini Bus Stop” Project

Beyond visual support, the “Jimin Apple Music Team” also initiated the “Jimin Mini Bus Stop” project. Near Jimin’s military base, they installed a clean and vibrant bus stop, complete with a yellow bench and guide signs, donated for use by soldiers and local residents.

This thoughtful gesture has been warmly received by the local community and stands as a shining example of fan support that positively contributes to society.

Jimin’s Exemplary Military Service

Jimin has served as a model soldier throughout his time in the military. He was honored as the top trainee during basic training and was selected as an elite soldier in June 2024, earning early promotion. Fans are proud to see him excel both on and off the stage.
